Combination Prevention

The Cyprus Checkpoint is the Information, Prevention and Testing Centre for HIV and other Sexual Transmitted Infections, established by the Movement in 2015.

Our centre follows the CBVCT (Community-Based Voluntary Counselling and Testing) model, adopted by community-let organisations across Europe and Central Asia.

 

Cy Checkpoint is an active member of the COBATEST Network and operated under the guidelines of WHO and ECDC.

  • Free, anonymous and rapid HIV/STI testing

  • Condoms, Gloves & Lubricants (dissemination)

  • Information about PEP: Post Exposure Prophylaxis

  • Information about PrEP: Pre Exposure Prophylaxis

  • Information about Doxy PEP/PrEP for bacterial STIs

  • Raising awareness about TasP: Treatment as Prevention (U=U)
