Living with HIV

Today, an HIV infection is completely manageable, as long as one knows they are living with the virus and access to treatment is possible.

 

Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) is free for all People Living with HIV in Cyprus, regardless of whether they have access to the General Health System (GHS).

People Living with HIV can live a full and healthy life, enjoy their romantic and sexual relationships, create a family and/or have children should they choose to, plan their future, grow old, and generally enjoy their life as they desire.

At the Movement, you will find evidence-based information on sexual and reproductive health, psychosocial support services, community empowerment, free and anonymous regular testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs), as well as advice from community experts, scientists, and professionals. At the same time, we fight for equality and equity, and demand universal application of human rights, especially regarding access to quality health services for all people Living with HIV.
