Welcome to the Cyprus PrEP Point

The 'Cyprus PrEP Point' is the Community Information and Empowerment Centre regarding PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV). The Cyprus PrEP Point was lunched run by the AIDS Solidarity Movement in May 2025, with services run by the Community for the Community. The Cyprus PrEP Point aims for effective information, support, and guidance for those who have chosen PrEP as their preferred HIV prevention method.

PrEP is officially available in Cyprus since October 2025.

PrEP is available to everyone​ who chooses this prevention method to protect themselves from HIV.

• You do not need to be registered in the Republic of Cyprus National Health System (GESY).

• PrEP is free. You do not need to pay anything.

• Access to PrEP requires a registration at the PrEP Clinic (General Hospitals of Larnaca and Nicosia). Your personal information is not registered in the National Health System. But, you will need to provide some sort of identification (i.e. an ID or passport).

• There are no exclusion criteria.

• Contact us if you need more information or any support to access PrEP. We offer guidance and support for free, in a safe and non-judgemental environment.
