This year we celebrate 10 years of operation of Cyprus Checkpoint !

The number of positive HIV-AIDS diagnoses has been increasing in recent years, with the number of HIV-positive people in Cyprus reaching 1,500 in recent years.

However, HIV patients in Cyprus have an ally and companion in Cyprus Checkpoint, which stands by them both in diagnosis and in the fight against the virus.

Cyprus Checkpoint is the Prevention Centre of the HIV-AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections Movement. For ten years now, free HIV-AIDS screening tests have been carried out. The Support Movement, among other things, informs the public about ways of prevention and stands by people with HIV-AIDS.

Speaking on the Alpha Update programme, the representative of the AIDS Support Movement, Christos Krasidis, referred to the largest HIV-AIDS testing campaign.
