Job Title: Officer

Organization: AIDS Solidarity Movement

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Nicosia, Cyprus

Who We Are:

The AIDS Solidarity Movement (hereafter “the Movement") is a Non-Governmental, Non-Profit Organization registered in the Republic of Cyprus since 1989. Our core mission revolves around continuous community intervention, research, education, and raising awareness to combat the social stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs). In 2015, the Movement launched the "Cy Checkpoint," its Prevention, Information, and Testing Center for HIV and other STIs. In 2025, the organisation launched the “Cyprus PrEP Point," its Community Center to support individuals interested in initiating PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV).

Our services exclude no one. However, we focus on hard-to-reach populations, groups, community members and underserved individuals (key populations), facing barriers to public healthcare access and disproportionate risks for HIV and other STIs, such as:

  1. People living with HIV;

  2. Gay, Bisexual, Queer, and other Men who have Sex with Men (GBQMSM);

  3. Members of the LGBTQI+ community;

  4. People with a migrant history (migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers);

  6. Sex workers.
