Dr Elisavet Constantinou, Deputy Director General, Director of Medical Services and Public Health Services of the #Republic of #Cyprus #Ministry of #Health, and chairwoman of the #National #AIDS #Committee, will present the proposed implementation plan for official access to PrEP in Cyprus, adopted by the National AIDS Committee and approved by the @Minister of Health.

The ‘Cyprus PrEP Point’ is the Community Information and Empowerment Centre by the AIDS Solidarity Movement, focusing on PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis), offering guidance and support to anyone who is using or wants to use PrEP, despite that this treatment that can prevent HIV infection is not yet officially available in Cyprus.

The Cy PrEP Point’s aims and goals are supported by :

• AIDS Action Europe,

• Accept - LGBTI Cyprus,

• Queer Collective CY

• Κυπριακός Σύνδεσμος Οικογενειακού Προγραμματισμού - ΚΣΟΠ / Cyprus FPA,

• Cyprus Refugee Council.

June 2025 is declared 'PrEP Month' with events aiming to raise awareness.
