Cyprus PrEP Point Services

The Cyprus PrEP Point is the Community Information and Empowerment Centre regarding PrEP for HIV (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis).
The centre is run by the Community for the Community, aiming for effective information, support, and guidance for those who choose PrEP as their preferred HIV prevention method. Following the announcement of the official access to PrEP in Cyprus, the Cyprus PrEP Point, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, has started providing information, guidance and empowerment to all interested individuals on how to access PrEP in Cyprus.

Service:

• We offer information and guidance through a confidential and anonymous peer-counselling session on PrEP.

• We facilitate easier access to the PrEP Clinics that operate at the General Hospitals of Nicosia and Larnaca.

• We provide routine anonymous, rapid and free HIV/STI testing through the Cy Checkpoint.

• We support you through your PrEP journey with everything you need to know before you start PrEP, and while you are using it. You can talk to us in a non-judgemental and safe environment about your experience, your concerns, and possible challenges. If you decide to stop taking PrEP, we are also here to help you with the phase-out process.
